Linh Huyen is a ‘gold’ medal award winning singer, actress and playwright. Her stage career spans two decades since her teenage years. She is the appointed prodigy of the great Cai Luong composer, Vien Chau.
In the past three years her plays have won recognition as unique in their depth and quality and last year her screen play about the female journalist , Suong Nguyet Anh, was awarded the National gold medal for best TV play of the year 2008/9.
Huyen sings and has recorded with the legendary Thanh Sang, she is the first and only artists he has ventured into the studio with since Thanh Nga. She is also recognized as a comedian and for her comedy scripts, “Toi Lua Tat Den- The River Comedy” has accumulated 100.000 plus views in two locations on U Tube- see link below.
She is a both friends with , and enjoys unique professional access to the legendary living artists of Cai Luong : Minh Vuong, Le Thuy, Ngoc Giau, Hong Nga...etc
Her comedy play Mot Ong Hai Ba in which she performed with Le Thuy and Minh Vuong was critically hailed at its premier. She is the founder of Mekong Artists.
